Broadcasting Rights Deal: Sky Sports has secured a new five-year contract worth at least £125 million to retain the broadcasting rights for the PDC Darts World Championship until 2030, despite strong bids from Netflix and Amazon. The deal represents more than double Sky’s previous rights fee, driven by the popularity surge attributed to 17-year-old Luke Littler, who recently won his first world title.
